Job summary

Prominent is seeking a DevOps Engineer with Azure expertise to implement Zero Trust IAM and data encryption, and to build automated Azure Virtual Desktop environments in Berkeley Heights, NJ. The role involves establishing robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security hardening in a client-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of Azure hands-on experience, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Azure hands-on experience.
• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
• Hands-on Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Knowledge of Azure monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Expertise with Azure IaaS/PaaS including App Gateway, API Management, App Service, Monitor, Sentinel, DevOps, Storage, Front Door.
• Experience with WebLogic and Apache.
• Strong understanding of Azure security practices.
• Linux OS proficiency.
• Agile mindset and strong problem solving.
• Ability to configure Microsoft Sentinel is a plus.
• Familiarity with FISMA HIGH, FedRAMP HIGH, and/or Zero Trust Architecture.
• Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400 preferred.

Responsibilities

Prominent Has a Contract To Hire Need For a DevOps Engineer With Azure Expertise. Preference Given To Candidates That Can Be Onsite In Our Client's Office In Berkeley Heights, New Jersey; Remote May Be Possible For The Right Candidate! As a DevOps Engineer You Will Implementing Zero Trust Architecture Around Identity And Access Management (IAM) And Data Encryption To Ensure Security. Additionally You Will Need

• Infrastructure Skills - You'll work with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure orchestration and software installation.


• AVD SME - You'll build and maintain personalized AVD using automation.


• CI/CD Expertise - You'll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.


• Security Focus - Identifying and addressing infrastructure and application security vulnerabilities is key. Implement robust zero trust architecture around identity and access management (IAM) and data encryption to ensure security.


• Monitoring Mastery - Set up robust monitoring and alerting using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights. Create operational dashboards for proactive visibility.

Required Skills

Anticipated hourly rate while on contract is in the $63-71/hr range.
