Job summary

EPITEC is seeking a Release Manager to oversee daily releases in an Azure-based environment. This contract role emphasizes automated security scans, feature flags, and zero-variation builds across DEV, INT, LOD and PRD.

You will report to stakeholders daily, coordinate infra deployments in Azure, and enable instant rollbacks when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field.
• Hands-on release management in an environment with daily releases.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the release process across DEV/INT/LOD/PRD environments.
• Implement automated security scans and ensure zero-variation builds.
• Utilize Azure App Configuration feature flags to deploy off state.
• Drive Azure deployments and infrastructure reliability in the cloud.
• Create daily release reports for business stakeholders and leadership.

Job Title: Release Manager

Duration: 12+ Months Contract (With Possibility of extension)

Pay Rate Range: $70-95 /hr (W2 Only)

• Experience with Azure Gov Cloud
• Experience working with FedRAMP, FISMA High, and /or Zero Trust
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
• Hands-on technical experience in an environment that had daily releases
• Experience with automated security scans
• Experience using Feature Flags to deploy code in off state using Azure App Configuration feature flag wrappers
• Experience with Infrastructure deployments in Azure
• Experience with driving towards obtaining zero variations in build artifacts across DEV, INT, LOD, and PRD environments
• Experience structuring and executing automated performance testing in an Azure environment
• Experience enabling instant operational rollbacks
• Experience with Azure cloud environments
• Experience creating and presenting reports to business stakeholders on the daily releases
