Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks a DevSecOps Cloud Software Engineer in Melbourne, FL to strengthen mission networks with secure, scalable cloud solutions. You will build and maintain containerized apps, automate deployments, and implement security best practices across systems and apps.

The role supports critical infrastructure for air traffic control and data sharing, requiring collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to obtain an FAA public trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 operational support for systems and services.
• Manage and support containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Support and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and services.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and delivery.
• Troubleshoot networking issues and ensure reliable system connectivity.
• Implement and support security best practices across infrastructure and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, improve system performance, and enhance operational processes.
• Monitor system health, performance, and availability to ensure operational excellence.
• Document procedures, troubleshooting steps, and system configurations.
