Job summary

Guidehouse IT Architecture/Cloud team seeks a DevOps-minded engineer to support CI/CD pipelines in AWS environments and contribute to IaC development. You will monitor cloud operations, respond to incidents, and help automate deployment, patching, and recovery processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of relevant experience, with a preference for AWS knowledge and scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash. This is an on-site opportunity with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration.
• Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts.
• Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities

• Support CI/CD pipeline administration, maintenance, and enhancement in AWS environments.
• Assist with IaC development using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Monitor cloud environments and respond to operational alerts and incidents.
• Support automated deployment, patching, backup, and recovery processes.
• Participate in automation initiatives to reduce toil and improve deployment consistency.
