Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a Platform Engineer / DevSecOps to design, build, and operate the AWS-based cloud platform for a large modernization program. You will enable secure, automated software delivery with CI/CD, IaC, and observability across multiple Scrum teams and vendors.

The role requires hands-on AWS experience, strong automation skills, and collaboration with Product Owners, security teams, and Federal stakeholders to ensure alignment with governance, compliance, and modernization

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Five or more years of platform engineering/DevSecOps experience.
• Hands-on AWS experience with services (ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS).
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Terraform/CloudFormation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, automate, secure, and operate AWS cloud platform capabilities.
• Implement and maintain modern DevSecOps practices and secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK).
• Embed security, observability, and reliability into platform engineering efforts.
