Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to support CI/CD pipelines in AWS, develop IaC with Terraform and CloudFormation, and monitor cloud environments for operational health. You will respond to incidents, assist with automated deployment, patching, backup and recovery, and drive automation initiatives to reduce toil and improve deployment consistency.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Public Trust; adjudication required prior to onboarding.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum 1 year of work experience.
• Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration.
• Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts.
• Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools.
• AWS Practitioner/Associate certification preferred.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies is a plus.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, Grafana).
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

What You Will Do:

What You Will Need:

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
• US Citizenship is contractually required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ONE (1)+ year of work experience.
• Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration experience.
• Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts.
• Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

The annual salary range for this position is $46,000.00-$76,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
