Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a DevOps/Cloud Engineer to support CI/CD pipeline administration, maintenance, and enhancement across AWS environments. You will assist with IaC development using Terraform or CloudFormation and monitor cloud environments for incidents.

The role requires 1+ year of DevOps or cloud experience, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust. Expect to contribute to automated deployments, patching, backups and recovery, and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD 'PUBLIC TRUST'; candidates must obtain approved adjudication prior to onboarding.
• US Citizenship is contractually required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ONE (1)+ year of work experience.
• Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration.
• Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts.
• Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
• US Citizenship is contractually required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum of ONE (1)+ year of work experience.
• Experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or systems administration experience.
• Basic understanding of AWS services, networking, and security concepts.
• Experience with Git, scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and CI/CD tools.

What Would Be Nice To Have

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Associate Certification.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or container technologies.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, Datadog, or Grafana.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Exposure to Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

The annual salary range for this position is $46,000.00-$76,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
