Zusammenfassung

Steampunk is seeking a Software Engineer to join our DevSecOps practice. You will develop APIs and integrations to connect data, services, and systems for federal contracting customers, using cloud platforms and security-conscious practices.

You will act as an individual contributor and mentor, designing and implementing solutions, documenting integrations, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines and continuous improvement across services. U.S.

Qualifikationen

• U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
• BS degree in IT or related field, or a non-IT degree with 2 years IT experience.
• 3 years of experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• 3 years of experience with Git platforms (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket).
• 3 years of experience with programming or scripting languages.
• 3 years of experience with one or more integration technologies (e.g., MuleSoft).

Aufgaben

• Understanding stakeholders' needs and translating to developer tasks.
• Test and review code and analyze results.
• Ensure systems are secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Identify problems, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Develop APIs and integrations across a broad range of software tasks.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations.
• Document as-is environments, perform gap analyses, and propose options.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute as an individual contributor.
• Engineer and implement improvements for services and deliverables.
• Provide regular status updates and cross-train colleagues.
