Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Design Engineer for AI Gateway to own product design and frontend implementation across surfaces used by developers. You will collaborate with a Product Manager and engineers to understand problems, explore solutions, and deliver production experiences spanning website, dashboard, CLI, and APIs.

You will craft production-quality web apps with React and TypeScript, contribute to the design of interfaces for models, providers, credentials, routing, budgets, and security

Qualifications

Proficient in React and TypeScript for production web apps.
Strong visual and interaction craft in UI design.
Experience building data-rich or complex developer-facing products.

Responsibilities

Own product design and frontend implementation for key journeys from discovery to first successful request and production use.
Design and build production experiences across website, dashboard, CLI, and APIs.
Make models, providers, credentials, routing, budgets, logs, and governance understandable with scalable patterns.
Collaborate with customers, PM, and engineers to define success and tradeoffs.
Ensure quality after launch including accessibility, performance, and instrumentation.
