Job summary

SIG Susquehanna is seeking a DevOps Support Engineer to join the Market Data Operations team at our Philadelphia area headquarters. You will work beside software developers and business teams to support the production trading environment, diagnosing issues and implementing automation to improve reliability.

Responsibilities include daily operations, Linux troubleshooting, deploying critical apps, and collaborating across teams while applying AI tools to daily workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience in an application support, operations, DevOps, or related role.
• Scripting experience and drive to automate repetitive tasks (e.g., Bash, Python).
• Unix/Linux command line proficiency and strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support of proprietary trading systems.
• Troubleshoot and support Linux-based systems.
• Deploy and maintain critical applications.
• Implement automation, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on current technologies.
• Communicate clearly during production issues to both business and tech teams.
• Contribute to a variety of projects based on business needs and interests.
