Responsibilities

• Support system imaging and software releases for our tactical systems.
• Setup and maintain servers and developer environments.
• Setup and maintain tactical systems as they are developed and fielded as well as the development networks used in the design process.
• Work on a multi-disciplinary team with mechanical, electrical, computer, and RF engineers.
• Assist with planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely, cost-effective fashion.
• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain products; assist in commercialization.
• Design testing and imaging procedures and coordinate testing for tactical systems and the software frameworks developed in house.

The Opportunity

CACI is seeking talented DevOps/Software Engineering Interns to join our team! The internship will begin in May and last 12 weeks. You will be required to work 100% on-site in the Westminster, CO office. Dive into an exciting internship with GROUPER, a dynamic IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity) contract for RDT&E (Research, Development, Test and Evaluation) with the United States Space Force. You'll work in a vibrant and innovative environment, collaborating on cutting-edge technology projects that support critical Space Force missions. Qualifications

Required:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearance
• Effective in modern programming languages such as Java, Python
• Effective with Linux
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Git, Ansible, Puppet, etc.
• Knowledge of computer networking
• Understanding of large-scale software design process
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral
• Able to work both within a team and autonomously as tasks dictate
• Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use
• Appropriate time management capabilities - able to both pace workload and provide feedback to leads on task progress
• Ability to work under the supervision of a mentor
• Eagerness to improve efficiency and streamline work procedures

• Minimum GPA of 3.3. or higher is preferred, but not required
• Previous internship/co-op or other work experience

$43,900 - 87,900 USD
