Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Sector is seeking a Software Engineer (DevOps) at_LEVEL 3 or 4 to join on-site teams in Fairfax, VA, Morrisville, NC, or Linthicum, MD. The role supports agile development, sprint cycles, and cross-program tasks with a DoD clearance requirement.

Ideal candidates have Java development experience, Kubernetes/Docker familiarity, and microservice architectures. The position is 100% onsite with a 9/80 schedule and relocation options may be available.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI at time of application.
• Requires software development experience and ability to digest changes into working designs.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservice architecture preferred.
• Strong object-oriented design (OOD/OOP)
• Software design and unit testing experience in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Processing Team in development of tasking and scheduling software.
• Be on an Agile team supporting two programs with a singular baseline.
• Execute 2-week sprints for 3-month increment deliveries.
• Design, develop, document, refactor, test, and debug applications.
• Other duties as assigned.
