Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automation for software deployments in the AWS Cloud.
  • Develop and maintain automation for a CI/CD pipeline to facilitate frequent product releases.
  • Participate in product development, systems analysis, and programming activities.
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing for software systems and related automation.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation for cloud solutions.
  • Support the operations teams with cloud deployments and other operational activities.
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by QA and support organizations and develop solutions to these problems.
  • Actively participate in various roles of the agile development process.
  • Assist with estimation and planning activities.
  • Participate in reviews of development artifacts, including designs, code, documentation, and test plans. Help maintain a high level of quality for Cloud deliverables.
  • Help maintain application environments used by development and QA.
Education / Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related Engineering degree.
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Proficient in Unix Bash scripting.
  • Proficient in Python 3.x technologies.
  • Experience with Cloud development on AWS (preferred), Azure, or Google.

Preferred

  • A good understanding of the software development process using agile methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Development, including an understanding of the SDKs for Python (Boto3) and Java, is a plus.
  • A good understanding of secure coding and cloud security best practices is a plus.
  • Experience with Terraform or other IAC tools is a plus.
  • Experience with container technologies such as Docker is a plus.
  • Experience with Java development is a plus.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting is a plus.
  • Proficient in SQL, and experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle is a plus.
  • AWS Associate Solutions Architect or Associate Developer Certifications are a plus.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Python and Java IDEs, Git, SSH, JIRA, Maven, and Gradle is a plus.
