Job summary

Impiricus seeks a Software Engineer (DevOps) to own cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, automation, reliability and security. You will design scalable AWS infrastructure, manage deployment pipelines, and collaborate with Engineering and QA to improve testing and production readiness.

You will help troubleshoot production issues, implement new features, and support the overall platform with a focus on performance and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building production-grade software.
• 2+ years operating cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, CloudWatch).
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and SQL; CI/CD experience with GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS) and cloud networking/security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable AWS infrastructure via IaC.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools and/or third-party tools.
• Operate containerized and serverless workloads (EKS, ECS, Lambda, Fargate).
• Monitor, log, and troubleshoot systems with CloudWatch and related tools.
• Implement AWS security best practices and automate infrastructure operations.
• Lead incident response and drive reliability and cost optimization.
• Contribute to QA automation and assist with feature development as needed.
