Hey,

We are seeking a skilled and certified DevOps Network Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for bridging the gap between network engineering and DevOps practices. A valid CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is mandatory for this role.

Location: Remote.

Job Type: Contract W2.

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience Required: 9+ Years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable network and DevOps infrastructure in on-premises and/or cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless CI/CD integration and secure networking.
• Monitor network performance and availability, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Manage routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless network components.
• Integrate network services with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Implement and manage version control, build systems, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Ensure compliance with network security policies, audits, and best practices.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning from a networking and infrastructure perspective.
• Document configurations, procedures, and changes effectively.

Required Qualifications:

• CCNA Certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate) – Must be active and verifiable.
• 8+ years of experience in network engineering and/or DevOps roles.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), subnetting, NAT, ACLs, and QoS.
• Experience with network automation tools and scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible).
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Good understanding of security practices related to networking and DevOps pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting.
