Northrop Grumman Mission Systems seeks a Manager, DevOps Engineering 1 in Linthicum, MD or Baltimore, MD. You will lead a team of up to 8 DevOps engineers, guiding CI/CD pipelines, software integration, and deployment activities while closely collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role combines 10% functional management with 90% direct technical contribution, advancing DevSecOps, automation, and secure software delivery. A Secret clearance is required to start.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required; Secret clearance needed to start.
• Experience with software development lifecycle activities, including build, integration, test, release, and configuration management.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, source-code management, and software integration and test activities.
• Experience with Linux-based development, test, integration, or deployment environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers supporting software development, integration, test, release, and deployment activities.
• Provide technical and functional insight for CI/CD pipelines, build and release automation, and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate with software, systems, test, cybersecurity, hardware, and program teams to align priorities and resolve cross-functional issues.
• Apply DevSecOps practices including automated testing, deployment, IaC, configuration management, and security scanning.
• Track progress, communicate delivery status, and manage performance and career development.
