Cogent People Inc. is seeking a DevOps Lead (Copado) based in Columbia, MD. This role involves supporting detailed requirements and leading DevSecOps implementation to enhance workflow and data quality.

Employment Type: Full-time, W2 position with Cogent People Inc. This is a direct hire position with full benefits.
Location: Hybrid (Columbia, MD - 2 days onsite per week) OR Remote (as applicable to role).

Cogent People Inc. is seeking a DevOps Lead (Copado) to support detailed requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation for projects workflows, data structures, and user interactions.
This role works with stakeholders and Agile teams to refine user stories, ensure alignment with CMS processes, and support testing and user acceptance. The position contributes to continuous improvement by identifying gaps in workflow execution, data quality, and user experience.
The DevOps Lead leads DevSecOps implementation using Copado to enable automated, secure CI/CD pipelines and controlled release promotion across Salesforce environments. Ensures configuration management, test automation gating, and deployment traceability aligned with CMS security and compliance requirements. Integrates continuous validation, monitoring, and release governance into all delivery activities.
This role is responsible for strategy, execution, delivery, leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals, user needs, and technical requirements.
