Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our cloud-native teams. You will design, deploy, and operate the CTI Database Platform services, and drive automation through IaC using Terraform and Ansible.

You will collaborate with platform and engineering squads to improve reliability, resiliency, and efficiency, promoting CI/CD and DevOps practices, and shaping data platform architectures with Redis, MongoDB, SingleStore, and CockroachDB.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer supporting enterprise-scale platforms and services
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code technologies
• 2+ years of hands‑on experience developing Ansible playbooks and automation
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD toolchains including Git (Bitbucket preferred), Jenkins, and Ansible Tower
• 2+ years of experience working within a DevOps culture and practices
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and tooling
• Proficiency in Bash/Shell scripting
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems
• Experience with container technologies
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift
• Architect experience with data platforms such as Redis, MongoDB, SingleStore, and CockroachDB
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and deployment of CTI Database Platform services
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and Ansible
• Enable highly complex implementations through automation and reusable deployment patterns
• Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve service reliability, resiliency, and efficiency
• Promote DevOps best practices, automation-first thinking, and continuous improvement
• Understand and implement database lifecycle management actions into PaaS IaC pipelines
