Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a DevOps Engineer to join the Platform Engineering team at NASIC, Wright-Patterson AFB. You will build and scale foundational infrastructure and support mission-focused engineering teams, blending software development with IT operations.

Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required. Travel ~10% with relocation assistance possible; the role can be filled at DevOps Engineer or Principal level depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code configurations and maintenance.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.
• Proficiency with Linux, core cloud services, and Git workflow.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and scale platform infrastructure for software delivery and mission needs.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines and IaC solutions; support containers and Kubernetes workloads.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and improve system reliability and security.
• Collaborate with software, cybersecurity, and operations teams; apply secure engineering practices.
