Job summary

Onyx Point, Inc. is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to deliver a reliable platform orchestrating microservices in a secure SCIF environment. You will automate infrastructure with code, patch and harden Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and manage CI/CD pipelines on AWS.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teams, cloud-native tooling, and the ability to work primarily on-site in a sensitive facility. A current TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
• 9+ years of professional experience or 7+ with a related Masters degree
• Active TS/SCI security clearance preferred or required per posting

Responsibilities

• Provide an IaC-driven, highly available platform architecture for microservices
• Develop automation scripts and tooling using Python, Ansible, Terraform
• Patch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems
• Install, configure, and tune Kubernetes, Docker, Nifi; integrate cloud-native logging and metrics
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab runners and Argo CD
• Manage AWS-based infrastructure and services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
• Collaborate effectively with teammates and stakeholders in a SCIF environment
