Job summary

Vantor is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Herndon, VA to join our operations, software, and analytics team. This role focuses on on-prem and cloud infrastructure managed with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, and automated pipelines.

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI and CI poly, plus a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in a technical DevOps role. You will work in a SCIF environment with a distributed team, contributing to mission-critical solutions.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance and CI poly.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in a technical support or DevOps role.
• Experience with open-source deployments and Linux systems.
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams and in a SCIF environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, monitor, and maintain private cloud environments using Kubernetes.
• Create and maintain IaC scripts with Terraform and Helm.
• Develop automated DevOps pipelines with GitLab, ArgoCD, SonarQube, ArgoWorkflows, MLFlow, and related tools.
• Oversee and ensure compliance to ATO accreditation needs through patching and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.
