Vantor is seeking a Data Scientist to lead development of statistical and machine learning models for the FALCON effort. Role supports live/historic data, model simulations, and analytics integration across teams. Remote-friendly within the continental US.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of ML with time series/geospatial data, Python and libraries, and strong communication skills. Top Secret clearance preferred and required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen.
• Current Top Secret security clearance or CBP/DHS suitability.
• Good working knowledge of Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, SciPy.
• 3+ years applying ML to time series and/or geospatial data.
• 3+ years with PostgreSQL and Git.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant fields with 5+ years industry experience.
• Experience with data visualization and real-time analytics.
• Experience with model feasibility research and algorithm development.

This role can be performed remotely within the continental United States. The ideal candidate will derive these models to detect kinematic behaviors leveraging live and historical data. Using these models, the candidate will develop and run simulations to inform the development team on approaches to incorporate analytics into the system.
