Vantor is seeking a DevOps Engineer with on-prem and cloud expertise to support our new infrastructure platform. This role requires U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI with CI poly, plus a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in a technical role.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated DevOps experience and strong Linux knowledge.
• Open source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience.
• Able to work with a geographically distributed ops & development team.
• Effective written and oral communication with customers and team.
• Willingness to work 90% or more in a SCIF at Herndon, VA.

Responsabilidades

• Leverage Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain private cloud.
• Create and maintain IaC scripts using Terraform, Helm, or similar tools.
• Develop automated DevOps pipelines with ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube, ArgoWorkflows, MLFlow, Ray.
• Monitor, predict, update, and resolve issues from OS to applications.
• Oversee and manage compliance to ATO accreditation needs.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leverage Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain this private cloud environment
• Create and maintain automated, repeatable environment creation and configuration (Infrastructure as Code) scripts using Terraform, Helm, or similar tools
• Create and maintain automated DevOps pipelines using leading open-source offerings, including ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube, ArgoWorkflows, MLFlow, Ray
• Monitor, Predict, Update, and Resolve issues at all levels, from bare-metal operating systems to deployed applications
• Oversee and manage compliance to ATO accreditation needs with tuning, patching or documentation.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to determine requirements and execute on system integration requirements set by the customer.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).
• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in a technical support role (additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree).
• Demonstrated technical experience with DevOps and strong Linux experience.
• Open source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience.
• Capable of working effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development team
• Communicate effectively with customers and team in written and oral forums
• Willingness to work 90% or as needed in a SCIF environment in Herndon, VA .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with: Hardware and software sustainment with IC and DoD networks.
• Distributed processing methods and tools, such as REST APIs, microservices, IaaS/PaaS services.
• Developing and deploying web services
• Working with open-source resources in a government computing environment

Familiarity with

• Hybrid cloud/on-prem architecture, AWS, C2S, and
• Concepts such as Data visualization; Data management, Data integration, User Interfaces, Databases

Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and for all other states is:

$165,000.00 - $180,000.00
