Vantor Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Herndon, VA to support on-prem and cloud infrastructure for a national security-focused program. You will contribute to a privacy-conscious private cloud, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive automation across deployment pipelines.

The role requires active TS/SCI with CI poly, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to work in a SCIF environment. You will implement IaC, manage Kubernetes workloads, and help ensure compliance and performance

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in a technical role.
• Strong DevOps experience and Linux expertise.
• Open source deployments and maintenance experience.
• Ability to work with a geographically distributed team.

Responsabilidades

• Leverage Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain the private cloud environment.
• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code scripts using Terraform and Helm.
• Create and maintain automated DevOps pipelines using ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube, ArgoWorkflows, MLFlow, Ray.
• Monitor, predict, update, and resolve issues from OS to deployed applications.
• Oversee compliance to ATO accreditation needs with tuning and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine requirements and system integration.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage Kubernetes to configure, monitor, and maintain this private cloud environment
• Create and maintain automated, repeatable environment creation and configuration (Infrastructure as Code) scripts using Terraform, Helm, or similar tools
• Create and maintain automated DevOps pipelines using leading open-source offerings, including ArgoCD, GitLab, SonarQube, ArgoWorkflows, MLFlow, Ray
• Monitor, Predict, Update, and Resolve issues at all levels, from bare-metal operating systems to deployed applications
• Oversee and manage compliance to ATO accreditation needs with tuning, patching or documentation.

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to determine requirements and execute on system integration requirements set by the customer.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with CI poly (or willingness to obtain a CI poly).
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in a technical support role (additional years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree).
• Demonstrated technical experience with DevOps and strong Linux experience.
• Open source and custom application deployments and maintenance experience.
• Capable of working effectively with a geographically distributed ops & development team
• Communicate effectively with customers and team in written and oral forums
• Willingness to work 90% or as needed in a SCIF environment in Herndon, VA.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with:
  • Hardware and software sustainment with IC and DoD networks.
  • Distributed processing methods and tools, such as REST APIs, microservices, IaaS/PaaS services.
  • Developing and deploying web services
  • Working with open-source resources in a government computing environment
• Familiarity with:
  • Hybrid cloud/on-prem architecture, AWS, C2S, and
  • Concepts such as Data visualization; Data management, Data integration, User Interfaces, Databases

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and for all other states is:

$165,000.00 - $180,000.00
