Job summary

Apple IS&T Retail Store Apps Engineering seeks a hands-on software engineer to build scalable services powering Apple Retail experiences. You will code, test, and deploy with cross-functional teams across online and physical stores.

You will focus on automation, observability, and cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable store operations. Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science and 3 years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in Python, Rust, and/or Java programming languages.
Experience with cloud compute environments like OpenStack, AliCloud, AWS, GCP or Azure.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), configuration management, CI/CD, and automation.
Experience with troubleshooting, problem solving, and debugging.
Comfortable with on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

Eliminate repetitive manual processes using automation.
Develop and deploy application releases from Development into Production.
Maintain and improve health metrics and system stability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
Architect and lead distributed compute platforms and services for Apple Retail.
