Job summary

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer to support a major national laboratory in Albuquerque, NM. You will join a development team building and operating software across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes container orchestration with OpenShift/Kubernetes, .NET backend work, API development, and robust CI/CD pipelines to deliver reliable software at scale. A strong focus on security and DOE clearance is required.

Qualifications

BS in relevant discipline and 3+ years of related experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Security Clearance.
Must be US Citizen.
Candidate must reside in Albuquerque area; onsite work is required.

Responsibilities

Manage and administer server infrastructure supporting development and production environments.
Develop, deploy, and maintain containerized applications using OpenShift and Kubernetes.
Collaborate with backend and frontend developers to build robust APIs and user interfaces.
Design and optimize databases to support application needs.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Drive DevOps best practices to improve software delivery speed and reliability.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in development and production environments.
