Job summary

Artha is seeking a Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to manage cloud infrastructure for a scalable, reliable, and secure platform. You will design Terraform-based IaC, implement automated pipelines for builds and deployments, and advance GitOps with Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.

You will collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform reliability, observability, and on-call incident response, while building internal tooling to boost developer productivity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or similar
• Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure
• Experience building automated pipelines for builds, tests, deployments
• Proficiency with Terraform/IaC
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD
• Scripting/programming for automation and tooling
• Understanding of reliability, scalability, security, and compliance best practices
• Strong communication and ownership of projects

Job description

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and high availability.
• Build and maintain Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code for automated provisioning and management.
• Develop and maintain automated pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Drive GitOps practices and deployment automation using Kubernetes, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Implement and optimize monitoring, logging, alerting, observability, and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Build internal tools and automation that improve developer productivity and reduce manual processes.
• Partner with engineering teams on DevOps practices, deployment workflows, and platform reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure performance issues, operational inefficiencies, and potential points of failure.
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on‑call rotation for production infrastructure and critical incidents.
• Own infrastructure projects supporting the platform’s long‑term scalability, stability, and health.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, site reliability engineering, or a related infrastructure‑focused role.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining automated pipelines for application builds, testing, and deployments.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code technologies, particularly Terraform.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions.
• Familiarity with GitOps practices and ArgoCD.
• Experience with scripting or programming for infrastructure automation, developer workflows, and internal tooling.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and compliance best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and improve system performance and reliability.
• Strong communication, collaboration, independent working, and technical project ownership skills.
