Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking an experienced DevOps professional in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on the application release layer, not cloud infra, and requires in-person interview and USC/GC eligibility.

Candidates should have 6–8+ years in DevOps, Linux (RHEL/CentOS), and hands-on with Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, Ansible Tower, and Jira. Strong scripting with Groovy preferred and knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift/AKS is essential.

Qualifications

• 6–8+ years of DevOps / Build & Release experience
• Software delivery focus (application release layer, not cloud infrastructure/VPC provisioning)
• Linux-focused background (RHEL/CentOS)
• Expert-level hands-on experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, Ansible Tower, and Jira
• Experience identifying security vulnerabilities (code scanning/quality gates) and reliability improvements
• Strong Python or Groovy scripting (Groovy is strongly preferred)
• Container management with Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, or AKS
• Solid understanding of end-to-end SDLC processes
• Regulatory experience in Banking and Financial Services
• One and done in-person interview REQUIRED

Required Pay Scale: $60-$65/hr - W2
