Job summary

Source is hiring for an Infrastructure Engineer to maintain a robust, multi-cluster Kubernetes platform across Google Cloud and bare metal. You will manage clusters, IaC, and deployment automation to ensure service reliability at scale.

The team emphasizes mentorship and growth as the platform expands to larger distributed workloads. Ideal candidates have hands-on Kubernetes, Terraform/Ansible, Helm, Argo CD, and Docker experience, plus strong English communication and security‑minded practices

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes workloads and Linux fundamentals.
• Experience with Terraform and Ansible managing changes across environments.
• Proficient with Helm, Git-based delivery, and Docker pipelines.
• Knowledge of GCP (GKE, IAM, Secret Manager) with security-minded practices.
• Clear communication during code reviews and incident handling.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-cluster systems and web-scraping environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot GKE and Kubernetes clusters, managing node health, networking and deployments.
• Provision infrastructure using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Ansible.
• Build and improve Helm charts, Argo CD ApplicationSets, and GitHub Actions workflows.
• Investigate incidents using logs and metrics with rollback plans and validation.
• Enforce secure access to GCP services and secrets, maintaining security-first production changes.
• Collaborate with developers to improve stability and performance of systems.
