Job summary

Iassess Consultants is seeking an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, and SRE practices. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and modern DevOps tools.

You will design and maintain scalable infrastructure on GCP, manage Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Kubernetes deployments, Istio, Terraform, Helm, and GitOps workflows with Argo CD.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform.
• Manage GCP services including Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Spanner.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Work with Kubernetes Operators and Istio Service Mesh.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform Cloud.
• Create and manage Helm Charts for Kubernetes deployments.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus and Alertmanager.
• Manage GitOps-based deployments using Argo CD.
• Implement SRE practices focused on reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.
• Automate configuration and deployment processes using Ansible.
• Manage Docker-based application environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and support cloud-based application infrastructure.
