Job summary

Enlighten is seeking a DevOps Engineer Intern who will enter their senior year or final semester after the summer 2027 internship. You will work in a fast-paced, small business environment, maintaining and updating big data systems automation and cloud management tooling.

You will follow a hybrid schedule with some on-site work with the team in Grapevine, TX, and contribute to hands-on development, testing, and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• Clearance not required on day one; U.S. Citizenship required.
• Working towards a Bachelor's degree with at least 60% credits completed.
• Experience or coursework in Python development and Bash scripting.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and cloud platforms (AWS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance and upkeep of distributed computing systems and configuration automation.
• Script in Python and Bash for automation and feature development.
• Troubleshoot customer issues in applications and provide support.
• Engage in quality assurance testing and contribute to product improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
