Job summary

Spectrum is offering a paid 11-week summer internship in Charlotte, NC for IT/CS students. The program runs May 26 through August 6, 2027 and includes mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities. It targets rising seniors with a 3.0+ GPA who are authorized to work in the U.S.

without sponsorship. Interns will work with two teams on department and cohort projects (80/20 split) and gain exposure to incident response, troubleshooting, and change management, preparing them for

Qualifications

Must be a rising senior with graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
Currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA.
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities.
Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Work with two teams: department and intern cohort.
Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of the schedule; 20% includes development sessions, networking, webinars, and final presentations.
Assist in incident response triage and advanced troubleshooting to support mission-critical systems.
Guide change management processes and be an active member of the operations team.
