About The Role

We seek a DevOps Engineer II to join our team, working closely with clients and internal teams. This role involves engaging directly with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. As part of the Forward Deployed Engineering team, you'll work on mission-critical projects, solving complex problems independently and collaborating across teams to innovate in DevOps.

What You’ll Do
  1. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps tools
  2. Enhance build times and reliability via smart caching, dependency management, and parallel execution
  3. Implement and support testing workflows including unit, integration, and performance testing
  4. Support packaging and deployment across environments (dev, staging, prod)
  5. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize delivery and reduce cycle times
  6. Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform
  7. Troubleshoot and monitor build pipelines, deployments, and system performance
  8. Participate in on-call rotations and improve observability and alerting systems
  9. Share knowledge and contribute to documentation and best practices
What We Need
  1. 3+ years experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or infrastructure engineering
  2. Experience with GitLab or similar CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
  3. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
  4. Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus)
  5. Experience with testing frameworks and automation in CI pipelines
  6. Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar
  7. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  8. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  9. Ability to communicate effectively across teams in a collaborative environment
