Job summary

KBR’s Colorado Springs team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to integrate cloud technologies with DevOps practices. The role demands hands-on Kubernetes, CI/CD, and containerization expertise in a DoD-focused environment.

Candidates should hold an active TS/SCI clearance, a CS degree, and 2+ years in cloud or pipeline engineering, with proven Linux proficiency. Onsite work in Colorado Springs, CO with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. government TS/SCI security clearance required.
• DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce qualification (Security+ or equivalent).
• B.S. in Computer Science.
• 2+ years in Cloud Engineering, Pipeline Engineering, or Kubernetes development.
• Proficient in Kubernetes and experience writing Dockerfiles.
• 2+ years GNU/Linux commands, shell navigation, and Git.
• Ability to research and solve complex technical problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy helm charts to Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop GitLab CI/CD pipelines to build, scan, publish, and deploy containers and helm charts.
• Troubleshoot failed deployments and pipelines.
• Containerize custom applications.
• Design high-level architecture for cloud-native networks and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of tech stacks.
