Job summary

Quarterhill Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer to drive scalable cloud infrastructure and reliable delivery across a cloud-native platform. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate provisioning with Terraform/Ansible, and support Kubernetes-based services in a fast-paced, on-call environment.

You will collaborate with developers and security teams to reduce downtime and improve release velocity while optimizing costs and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in DevOps/SRE with cloud infrastructure and automation.
• Proven experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and CI/CD tooling.
• Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across platforms.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for polyglot monorepos.
• Automate provisioning and configuration using IaC and GitOps workflows.
• Monitor, log, and respond to incidents with minimal downtime.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and security to improve reliability.
