Job summary
Cognizant is seeking a DevOps/Software Engineer in Dearborn, MI to standardize CI/CD pipelines and maintain tooling for automotive software projects. You will monitor builds, analyze trends, and contribute to Confluence documentation.
The role emphasizes collaboration with software developers, Corporate IT, and Security in an Agile environment, with focus on reliability and efficiency of the software lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Experience with automotive ADAS systems.
- Knowledge of ECU software development and control models.
- Strong modelling with MATLAB/Simulink and requirements management.
- Familiarity with SDLC models (V-cycle, Agile) and version control.
Responsibilities
- Standardize pipeline scripting across teams and environments, prioritizing maintainability.
- Monitor and maintain CI/CD builds and testing, analyze trends, and implement reliability improvements.
- Develop and maintain Confluence documentation for tools and processes.
- Contribute to team results through ownership in agile scrum development sprints.
- Participate in code review activities to ensure best practices.
- Collaborate frequently with external teams (software developers, Corporate IT, Security, etc.).
