Job summary

Tower Loan is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Flowood, MS to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate builds, and ensure reliable software delivery across the enterprise.

The role requires hands-on experience with Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern .NET applications, plus scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

You will collaborate with development teams, implement monitoring and observability, and help strengthen security and deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/SE or related field; 3+ years in DevOps or SRE.
• Proven experience building production CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Hands-on with Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern .NET apps.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery.
• Automate application builds, testing, packaging, deployment, validation, and rollback processes.
• Develop standardized deployment processes and reusable automation across teams and apps.
• Configure, administer, and maintain Octopus Deploy environments, workflows, and templates.
• Integrate Octopus Deploy with source control, build systems, artifact repositories, container registries, and Kubernetes Platforms.
• Manage Git-based workflows using Bitbucket and GitHub, including branching strategies and code reviews.
• Support the build, deployment, and operation of modern .NET applications, APIs, services, and background processes.
• Develop and maintain Docker containers, registries, image versioning, and security standards.
• Deploy, configure, and support Kubernetes applications, including configurations, networking, and health monitoring.
• Implement and maintain application monitoring, centralized logging, and alerting solutions.
• Develop automated deployment validation and health checks to minimize disruptions.
• Automate routine infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, APIs, etc.
