Job summary

Tower Loan is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation that support software delivery and application performance. You will automate builds, deployments, validations, and rollbacks, and collaborate across teams to improve reliability and scalability.

The role requires hands-on experience with Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern .NET apps, along with strong scripting and observability skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Software Engineering preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3+ years in DevOps, software or systems engineering.
• Experience implementing production CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Hands-on with Octopus Deploy, Bitbucket, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and modern .NET applications.
• Experience with application performance monitoring and observability platforms.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Python, Bash, and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, SQL Server, IIS, or Linux environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise .NET apps, microservices, and production Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
• Automate builds, testing, packaging, deployment, validation, and rollback processes.
• Develop standardized deployment processes and reusable automation across teams.
• Configure, administer, and maintain Octopus Deploy, including environments and templates.
• Integrate Octopus Deploy with source control, build systems, registries, and Kubernetes platforms.
• Manage Git-based workflows using Bitbucket and GitHub, including branching strategies.
• Support deployment and operation of modern .NET apps, APIs, services, and background processes.
• Develop and maintain Docker containers, registries, image versions, and security standards.
• Deploy, configure, and support Kubernetes applications and health monitoring.
• Implement centralized logging, monitoring, performance tracking, and alerting solutions.
• Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, APIs.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment reliability and performance.
• Maintain secure credentials and deployment permissions.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and production performance problems.
• Evaluate DevOps tools and propose improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
