Job summary

Subway Headquarters is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation. The role emphasizes automation-first mindset, AI-powered tooling, and secure, scalable delivery infrastructure across engineering teams.

You will implement IaC with Terraform, monitor pipeline performance, and partner with security and platform teams to improve DevOps tooling. The position is based in Shelton, CT with a focus on rapid, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
4–7 years of DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering experience.
Experience with CI/CD tooling and automation in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across engineering teams.
Automate build, test, packaging, and deployment workflows to reduce manual effort.
Integrate AI-assisted code quality, security scanning, and testing into pipelines.
Develop IaC using Terraform to provision cloud and hybrid environments.
Monitor pipeline health, diagnose bottlenecks, and improve delivery velocity.
Embed DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning and policy-as-code.
