Subway Headquarters in Shelton, CT seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling that power its technology organization. The role emphasizes automation, security, and scalable delivery across engineering teams.

You will leverage Terraform and cloud platforms to automate environments, integrate AI-powered tools, and improve observability while ensuring rapid, reliable software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-7 years of DevOps, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins.
• Proficiency with Terraform (IaC) and cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and policy‑as‑code.
• Experience in Agile, cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery across engineering teams.
• Automate build, test, packaging, and deployment workflows to minimize manual effort.
• Integrate AI‑assisted quality, security scanning, and test coverage tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor pipeline health and performance; identify bottlenecks impacting delivery velocity.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to provision and manage cloud/hybrid environments.
• Automate infrastructure lifecycle management including provisioning, scaling, patching, and decommissioning.
• Embed DevSecOps practices throughout delivery pipelines, including vulnerability scanning and policy‑as‑code.
• Provide documentation, training, and guidance on CI/CD and automation best practices.
