Job summary
PRIMUS Global Services is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer in Chicago to design, implement, and support scalable, secure cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and related CI/CD automation tools. You will own deployment pipelines and help with security hardening and cost optimization.
The ideal candidate has 8–10 years of hands-on cloud experience, strong IaC practices, observability, IAM, and collaboration across agile teams in a hybrid work environment based in Chicago, IL.
Qualifications
- 8–10 years of hands-on DevOps experience in cloud environments.
- Extensive knowledge of AWS Cloud services and IaC tooling.
- Experience with CI/CD automation, observability, and IAM.
Responsibilities

Job description
We have an immediate need for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Cloud, DevOps automation, and cloud infrastructure management to design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
This is a hybrid position is based in Chicago, IL 60606, with the work arrangement to be confirmed. The ideal candidate will have 8 10 years of experience in AWS Cloud services, Harness, Terraform, AWS CDK, Dynatrace, Kong API Gateway, Microsoft Entra ID, CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud infrastructure architecture, observability and monitoring, authentication, identity and access management (IAM), and Agile delivery practices.
No subcontracting is permitted on this position. Candidates must be willing to work directly on our payroll.
