Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team focusing on delivering complex solutions in challenging environments for government and commercial customers. You will implement automation for Windows and Linux servers, monitor performance, and secure networks as part of a mission-critical portfolio.

We value expertise in DevOps, AWS, and scripting; candidates with security clearances are preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Development Operations (DevOps).
3+ years experience with scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB.
AWS experience is required.

Responsibilities

Set up automation and tooling for installation and configuration of Windows and Linux servers.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and automate maintenance tasks.
Automate configuration and management of network services (DNS, DHCP, Active Directory).
Automate backup strategies and disaster recovery planning.
Automate security measures including firewalls and access controls.
Analyze system performance and implement optimizations.
Maintain documentation and generate reports on system performance, security, and compliance.
Participate in planning of new systems and migrations.
Stay current on latest technologies, industry trends, and security practices.
