Job summary

Base-2 Solutions, LLC. is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support the NMEC DOMEX Technology Platform and D3P Modernization.

The role focuses on designing, deploying, and maintaining a full-stack, containerized microservices architecture in a mission-focused environment from Bethesda, MD. Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining production pipelines on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka, refining CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating across cross-functional teams in an Agile

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain a CI Polygraph.
Bachelor's degree with 3 years of experience (or 5 years without).
Strong Linux proficiency.
Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes.
Experience with CI/CD orchestration and GitLab.
Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
Demonstrated success in cross-functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka.
Enhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes.
Design, develop, and support scalable infrastructure including physical and virtualized environments.
Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments for new features.
Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
Participate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions.
