Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and Terraform.
• Knowledge of unit, integration, regression, and security testing in the software delivery lifecycle.
• 5+ years delivering with Azure DevOps pipelines and release management.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines to automate build, test, and release workflows across hybrid environments.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and YAML to deploy cloud resources across environments.
• Collaborate with application, data, and security teams to translate requirements into infrastructure designs balancing performance and cost.
• Analyze usage patterns to right-size resources and apply governance controls to reduce costs without compromising service quality.
• Establish monitoring, observability, and alerting to provide visibility into system health and reduce incidents.
• Guide teams in configuration management and secrets management, ensuring environment segregation for data protection.
• Conduct design and code reviews for infrastructure components to ensure security and regulatory compliance.
• Document architecture decisions and runbooks for day-to-day operations across day shifts.
• Collaborate with investment banking and brokerage stakeholders to align infrastructure with regulatory expectations.

In this role, you will:

• Configure and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines to automate build test and release workflows improving deployment frequency stability and traceability across hybrid work arrangements.
• Implement infrastructure as code practices using Terraform and YAML to ensure consistent repeatable and auditable deployment of cloud resources across multiple environments.
• Coordinate with application data and security teams to translate functional and nonfunctional requirements into practical infrastructure designs that balance performance cost and risk.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization by analyzing usage patterns right sizing services and applying governance controls that reduce operational costs without compromising service quality.
• Establish monitoring observability and alerting practices that provide proactive visibility into system health enabling timely resolution of incidents and reduction of service disruptions.
• Guide teams in adopting best practices for configuration management secrets management and environment segregation to protect sensitive information and maintain system integrity.
• Conduct design and code reviews for infrastructure components to ensure adherence to security guidelines regulatory considerations and industry best practices relevant to financial services.
• Document architecture decisions infrastructure diagrams and runbooks in a clear and structured manner so operations and engineering teams can support platforms effectively in day shifts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from investment banking and brokerage functions when applicable to align infrastructure capabilities with domain specific requirements and regulatory expectations.
• Perform risk assessments on new infrastructure changes by evaluating potential impact on service continuity security posture and compliance obligations before implementation.
• Continuously evaluate emerging tools and practices in cloud automation AI operations and DevOps to propose improvements that enhance reliability speed and sustainability of infrastructure services.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform.
• In addition, the candidate should have practical experience and a good understanding of Unit, integration, regression, and security testing practices within the software delivery lifecycle.
• 5 years of experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and release management, branching strategies (such as GitFlow, trunk-based development, or similar approaches), including how they are implemented and governed across teams.
• DORA metrics and their application in measuring and improving engineering efficiency, deployment performance, reliability, and delivery outcomes.

Annual salary between $90,000-$116,000 is being offered for the role.
