Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks an experienced DevOps/DevSecOps Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and secure a modern Azure-based analytics and app platform. You will implement secure CI/CD, build scalable cloud infra, and enhance observability in a hybrid work environment.

Join a team collaborating across software, data, and infrastructure to improve deployment reliability and security across the software delivery lifecycle. Strong Azure, IaC, and automation skills required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or DevSecOps experience.
• Strong experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Expertise with Git-based development workflows and source control best practices.
• Advanced scripting and automation experience using Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or similar platforms.
• Experience deploying and supporting containerized applications using Docker.
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, observability, and production support practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Job DescriptionA leading investment and financial services organization is seeking an experienced DevOps / DevSecOps Cloud Engineer to help build, automate, and secure a modern cloud-based analytics and application platform. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, automation, security, and platform engineering.

Working closely with software engineers, data engineers, quantitative teams, and technology stakeholders, you will develop and maintain scalable Azure cloud environments, implement secure CI/CD processes, and drive operational excellence across the software delivery lifecycle. You will play a key role in improving deployment reliability, developer productivity, system observability, and cloud security practices.

This is a hybrid position offering a flexible mix of remote and onsite work.

What You Will Be Doing

The Offer

• Base salary: $150,000 - $160,000
