Our client, a global investment banking firm, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their infrastructure team in New York, NY or Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Automate workflows and operational tasks using Python, Bash, JavaScript, and PowerShell.
• Support Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services, including compute, networking, security, and monitoring.
• Implement containerization strategies and manage AKS/Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop system integrations and APIs using Azure Logic Apps, Function Apps, and RESTful APIs.
• Implement monitoring, security scanning, and compliance automation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Design and support data lake architectures and analytics platforms.
• Drive AI-powered automation and integrations using Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Azure AI Foundry.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to DevOps-related incidents as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
• Strong background in Microsoft Azure, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, JavaScript, and PowerShell for automation and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep/Terraform) and container orchestration (AKS/Kubernetes).
• Experience with API development, JSON, and integration best practices.
• AI/ML integration experience using Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Data lake architectures and analytics platforms such as Databricks, along with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory, preferably in a hybrid environment.
• Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Salary: $140,000 - $170,000
