The work:

A DevOps Engineer, to design & maintain scalable cloud architectures utilizing a combination of AWS services, COTS, and custom code. This position would support the end users on the DevOps tools specifically Jira, Confluence and Github. You will add new features while improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability to address client needs; Gather information to deliver weekly reports to clients. Ideal candidate will have an understanding of various web application authentication mechanisms, including SAML, OIDC, PKI, basic auth, etc;Experience building, deploying, and maintaining custom container images in cloud environments. Additionally, you will have experience deploying application stacks utilizing Jenkins pipelines in Groovy, CloudFormation, and Cloud Development Kit (CDK). Over time, this position could evolve to support the day-to-day maintenance of the software to include patching, upgrades and accreditation.

Here's what you need:

• 1+ years' experience in IT operations, cloud, or software engineering
• Proficiency with Linux to include administration of applications and troubleshooting issues
• Proficient in Programming and Debugging in Python and Bash (experience in other languages is desired)
• Proficient with AWS managed services: EC2 (ELB, AMI, ASG), Route 53, RDS, S3, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.
• Experience with AWS Lambda, StepFunctions, Fargate, etc. to build, deploy, and manage serverless architectures

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience with DevOps Tools to include JIRA, Confluence and Github
• Experience with Docker, Podman, or Kubernetes

Eligibility Requirements:

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states ofCalifornia, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia is:

$85,200 — $162,700 USD
