JOB DUTIES:

Senior DevOps/Enablement Engineer

JOB DUTIES:
Serve as a Senior Developer on the clientOperations & Enablement team including handling on-call duties.
Should be able to write code independently without one on one direction.
Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal (will be explaining code to team members, supporting other development teams, coaching others to success, frequently pairing)
Developing automation for cloud accounts, infrastructure, FinOps and Enablement.
Troubleshooting production issues and communicating root cause of problems to others.
Working with teams globally to support theclient initiatives.

REQUIRED
Excellent communicator, written and verbal
Ability to work in a global team environment
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience with application development and scripting languages
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Self-motivated and able to work independently

4+ years of experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
AWS Certification (Developer/Architect/DevOps)
4+ years of experience with Python, Boto, Terrafrom, TypeScript
4+ years of experience with Github Actions CI/CD
Experience with Agile development processes including: Test Driven Development, Test Automation, PYTest.

PREFERRED
6+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services [ECS, S3, ES, Lambda, ELB]
2+ years of experience with Unix/Linux operating systems
2+ years of experience with Elastic Search/Open Search administration or support
4+ years of experience with infrastructure as code, automation, troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Experience with applications development environment, database, data administration and infrastructure capabilities and constraints


Notes:
Able to participate in on-call rotation every month and handle off-hours support work
Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time or less. Travel will mainly be to anclientlocation.
