Job summary

Pyramid Consulting, Inc. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and automate provisioning with Terraform and Ansible.

The role requires hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes (EKS) and Linux scripting, onsite from day one. The ideal candidate will drive reliability, implement deployment automation, and collaborate with development teams to accelerate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Administer Linux environments and develop Shell scripts to automate tasks.
• Manage source code and branching workflows using Git, Bitbucket, and GitHub.
• Implement deployment automation to improve reliability and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, and production issues and implement corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with development and engineering teams to streamline deployments and support CD.

Job description

Immediate need for a talented DevOps Engineer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in United States (onsite).

Pay Range: $50 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
