Job summary

Refocus LLC is seeking an Entry-Level DevOps Engineer to join the Enterprise Infrastructure & Platform Team. You will help streamline release processes, automate build environments, and support secure CI/CD pipelines in a regulated financial environment.

You will collaborate with development and operations teams to enable high-frequency, reliable releases, while building foundational skills in DevOps practices and enterprise tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration and SDLC knowledge.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, or Shell).
• Basic exposure to Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining and improving automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Write basic automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Shell to eliminate repetitive manual tasks.
• Help provision and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Support application containerization using Docker and basic Kubernetes orchestration.
• Monitor continuous delivery systems, investigate deployment failures, and assist with root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with development teams to enforce security (DevSecOps) and compliance standards for code deployments.
